About Me

I am a software engineer with too many interests and too little time. I have an academic background in physics and mathematics, but I spend most of my time writing code for distributed systems. Programming has always been a favorite hobby of mine, and I am fortunate enough to be able to make a career out of it. In my free time I love to play golf, blunder pieces in chess, and spend time with my wife, our baby, and our two golden retrievers. Most of my projects are closed source, but feel free to peruse my github page to see what I’ve been up to lately. Here are a few technologies I've been working with recently:

I worked as a research assistant at FIU in the NeuroImaging laboratory. We scanned people’s brains using fMRI machines and analyzed the data to learn more about how the brain works.
